Computer Integrated Systems Design

Show systems that keep the whole yard in time RAISED

CIRQUE CAP A LLC is a computer integrated systems design studio that rigs, times and raises the tent for live performance venues from Salt Lake City, Utah, at 136 S Main St Ste 400, Salt Lake City - 84101-3632, United States (US). Our engineers design the show control backbones, rigging telemetry loops, stage automation drives and cue lighting networks that hold a full production together under one clock. Every install is drawn on the same big top yard principle: one center pole of truth, guy ropes of redundant signal, and a spotlight tower that never misses its cue.

One yard, one clock, one accountable systems house

A performance venue is not a box with seats. It is a working yard of lifts, lofts, rails, dimmers, drives and networks that must all agree on the same instant in time. CIRQUE CAP A LLC treats that agreement as the product. Our computer integrated systems design practice starts with the show and works backward into cable trays, control enclosures, network segmentation, safety interlocks and operator consoles. We do not sell a single clever fixture and walk away. We take responsibility for the whole yard, from the ticket booth power drop to the spotlight tower at the far edge of the bleachers.

The tent we build in software is deliberately honest. Show control is our center pole: one authoritative timeline that every subsystem reads from. Rigging telemetry is our guy rope set: load pins, encoders and slack sensors that report continuously so no one ever guesses how much weight is in the air. Stage automation is our winch house: motion axes that move a revolve, a lift or a fly bar with controlled acceleration and clean braking. Cue lighting networks are the radial seams: redundant data paths that keep every fixture listening when one leg of the rig drops out.

Behind all of it sit two quieter systems that make a season survivable. Our venue scheduling platforms give a roadhouse a single calendar for load-ins, rehearsals, matinees, dark days and maintenance windows, so a building never double-books its own rig. Our tour logistics systems carry that same discipline on the road, tracking truck packs, travel days, power availability and local crew calls so a company arrives to a dock that is actually ready. Rig it, time it, raise the tent is not a slogan for us; it is the order of operations.

Show Control Systems

We design the authoritative timeline that every other subsystem reads from, so an operator presses one key and the whole yard moves together. The control enclosure holds the show computer, the timecode generator, the network switches and the safety interlock logic, all documented so a venue can maintain it for a decade. See the Show Control Systems detail.

D

Rigging Telemetry

Load pins, position encoders, slack detection and motor current sensing report the true state of every point in the grid. Our telemetry loops are the guy ropes of the building: quiet until they matter, then unmistakable. See the Rigging Telemetry detail.

K

Stage Automation

Revolves, stage lifts, fly bars and traveler tracks are driven through controlled acceleration profiles with clean braking and hard mechanical limits behind the servo loop. We size the drives, the brakes and the stop categories to the load the venue actually carries. See the Stage Automation detail.

N

Cue Lighting Networks

Redundant data paths keep every fixture and dimmer listening even when one leg of the rig drops out. We plan universes, gateways and priority merging so a lost node is an inconvenience, not a blackout. See the Cue Lighting Networks detail.

F

Venue Scheduling Platforms

A single calendar for load-ins, rehearsals, matinees, dark days and maintenance windows keeps a roadhouse from double-booking its own rig. We model the building as a resource and let the season schedule push against real constraints. See the Venue Scheduling Platforms detail.

T

Tour Logistics Systems

Truck packs, travel days, power availability and local crew calls travel with the show in one coordinated system. A company arrives to a dock that is actually ready, with the right crew and the right power already staged. See the Tour Logistics Systems detail.

How a CIRQUE CAP A LLC engagement runs

Survey and system model

We begin on site with a full walk of the yard: grid, galleries, dock, dimmer room, control position and every path a cable or a performer will travel. From that walk we produce a system model that names each subsystem, its owner, its failure modes and its maintenance interval. Nothing in the model is aspirational. If a venue cannot maintain it, we do not specify it.

The model drives the drawings. Riser diagrams, network topology, load tables and cue stack structure all fall out of the same document, which is why our designs survive a decade of touring companies borrowing the building for a week at a time.

Commission, train, hand over

Installation is only half the job. We commission every axis, every telemetry loop and every lighting universe under load, then train the house crew until they can run a show and recover from a fault without calling us. Hand-over includes a printed and digital operations manual, a spare parts list and a maintenance calendar tied to our scheduling platform.

When a venue later adds a lift or a new fixture, the documentation is still true, which is the entire point of designing the yard before the equipment.
